Since the last time i posted.
CNY came. Only took one particularly attractive pic.
deep fried pork! YUM!
and went to Century Square @ Tampines Central for Popeyes.
Mashed potato. Think this can be considered the best thing i had there.
Kinda like the chunks of minced meat in the salty sauce.
Cajun Fries = Long john silvers + mac twister fries
Nice and crispy.
Calamari rings.. barely warm, not crispy, not tasty.. SUCKS!
The chicken, less floury then kfc, quite tasty. but recently have more of a liking for korean style fried chicken :D

Weekend Stuff
Baked cookies, bread and made konyaku jelly over the weekend
almond cookies baking in oven
peanut butter dark chocolate chip cookies baking in oven
Almond cookies! placed too much mixture into some of them..
Tried putting mini m&ms in.
1) didt have much cause sis kept eating them!
2) apparently m&ns melt in ur mouth, not in ur hand and blows up in the oven!
i think i need to add in more chocolate chips next time
same here.. MORE CHOCOLATE!
Stuffed bread. Mostly ham + cheese + mushrooms.. and just for fun 1 with rasins for mum

half-sectioned view of stuffed bread, this one has cheese + ham + mushroom + potato
wasn't careful with the ham and some came out.
bread all cut up. those markings are burnt cheese!
lastly mango flavored konyaku jelly with nata de coco cubes inside =)
Relaxing weekend.. CNY next week!

Met up with some of the old tkd gang for dinner @ new york new york at citylink mall.
Giant Hamburger!
Pretty decent burger, would have been better if fries were crispier and they had different sauces to go with the fries. Burger was nice and juicy though bun was nothing special.

Stuffed Bread
tried making stuffed bread on sunday
'arranging' ingredients to go within the bread.. forgot to take a shot of everything, but had like ham, cheese, eggs and mushrooms! sadly not enough mushrooms and i should be more generous with the cheese.
trying my best to roll up the dough
it looks so squashed and uneven cause when i first started out, i forgot how big my oven is! end up had to like squash it together >_< [note to self: MEASURE the oven before making the dough and rolling it up]

End result [too close to the top , so bread got abit charred]
End result sliced into pieces.
Suprisingly, my mum actually liked it, and my sis wants more mushrooms next time :D

Mochi [Failed = Muachee]
Wanted to try making mochi
b4 microwave

nuts b4 pounding

Nuts appeared 'wet' and had problems making into smaller bits, i think i shall just buy those rdy made ones next time
mixture was toooo hot to handle, so end up become muachee!.. LOL
